Local 665 members and their leaders joined thousands of Teamsters in protesting the unilateral wage reductions for part-time UPS workers.

“We are here because this employer has taken unprecedented action to reduce the wages of these hard-working men and women”, said Local 665 President Mike Yates at the protest held in Santa Rosa, California. “These workers were hailed as essential for the last two years. Now that we’re about to emerge from the pandemic, UPS sends a message of disrespect to part-time workers”.

The protest in Santa Rosa was coordinated with Joint Council 7 locals throughout Northern California, at dozens of UPS Centers. Rank and File and Teamster Leadership have vowed to continue the pressure on UPS until wages for part-time employees are fully restored.
