Nor Cal Members,
This past week, the Nor Cal Negotiating Committee concluded the first round of supplemental contract negotiations with UPS. Negotiations lasted Monday through Friday in Sacramento. Each local Union in Nor Cal was represented in Negotiations, including Teamster Rank and File members from each classification. The company made it clear they are looking for flexibility in workweeks and start times that would directly affect our members. For the Teamsters, these negotiations are about a number of issues that include protecting our members, our seniority, our safety, our families, our wages, our workweeks, our start times, and our work. The Nor Cal committee will meet to have a second round of negotiations starting March 13, 2023.
