(Brisbane, Calif.) – Members of Teamsters Local 665 employed at the Unipart Group automotive
distribution center in Brisbane CA ratified a new collective bargaining agreement, bringing
economic security and full-time work protections over the life of a three-year deal.

“Unipart members knew that maintaining solidarity throughout these negotiations was key to
winning improvements in all aspects of their contract”, said Local 665 Principal Officer Tony
Delorio. “The security this new agreement brings is well-deserved”.

The Unipart three-year agreement includes a 3.5% wage increase every year, as well as annual
increases to both the Western Conference Pension and the 410(k) Plan.

An extra paid sick day has been added to the contract, and the union-administered health plan
will have maintenance-of-benefits provisions through the next three years.

Teamsters at Unipart raised concerns about temporary workers taking bargaining unit jobs. This
issue was addressed and firmly resolved when the company agreed to “no temp work”
provisions as part of the new agreement.

Unipart Shop Steward Berland Watson summed it up after the ratification vote.

“The company knows we work hard for our customers. We only ask for a fair wage and working
conditions in return. We achieved that respect with this new contract”, Watson said.
