Honoring the memory of our brother, Dan Varela

Dan passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on October 11.

Dan was not a member of Local 665. His membership over 40 years included Teamsters Locals 70, 78, and 853, as a freight driver, and Business Agent.

However, countless members of Local 665 directly benefited by the advocacy, and search for justice, that Dan fought for on their behalf; at the negotiating table, and on numerous adjustment panels.

Thank you Dan, for being a true brother to all of us at Local 665.

You will be truly missed.
