Friends of Labor:

Over a century ago workers who toiled at livery stables and automotive garages in San Francisco assembled with one purpose: to organize and improve the conditions of their employment.

The actions taken by these early trade unionists forged a path which would improve the lives of new generations of workers employed at a vast array of crafts and professions.

This mission and these accomplishments began with the award of a Charter from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters,

to Teamsters Local Union No. 665, on January 27, 1925.

Please join us in celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Teamsters Local Union No. 665 at San Francisco City Hall on January 27, 2025.
