Teamsters employed in the San Jose, California parking industry have unanimously ratified a new three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

“Clean and functioning commercial and municipal off-street parking is essential as return-to-work policies expand in the San Jose metropolitan region,” Local 665 Principal Officer Tony Delorio stated after the vote. “These hard-working members maintain these facilities and deserve the respect of a solid contract.”

The new three-year Agreement delivers across-the-board 12% wage increases scaled through July of 2028.

The maintenance differential will increase those wages by $1.50 an hour.

“Our members brought proposals seeking improvements in every economic section of the contract. We completely achieved those goals,” said Local 665 Business Agent Mark Malouf.

Included in that success are maintenance of benefits in the Teamsters health plan, annual retirement contribution increases in the Teamsters 401(k), an additional floating holiday, an additional sick day and an additional paid vacation week after 15 years of service.

Frank Jimenez, a Local 665 member at Parking Concepts, said the new contract brings workplace security to himself and his fellow Teamsters.

“Wages improved and the benefits are maintained.  We know that we are protected with a Teamster contract,” Jimenez said.
