Teamsters Local 665 Principal Officer Tony Delorio has been appointed as a Trustee to the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust.
The joint union-management panel oversee contractual retirement benefits for retired Teamsters, providing post-employment security for 600,000 families.
Contractual contributions for over 1300 Teamster-represented employers account for one of the premier multi-employer plans in the United States. The plan currently manages assets of over $50 billion.
“I am honored to be appointed to serve as trustee of this vital Teamster asset, retirement security which protects hundreds of thousands of Teamster members”, Delorio said following his appointment.
The Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust (WCTPT) is currently celebrating its 70th year.
Teamster members with WCTPT contractual pension contributions, after vesting, receive life-time benefits upon retirement from Teamster represented employment.
