I am excited to announce I am running as a candidate in the 2023 Assembly Delegate election (ADEM) as part of the Stronger Future (SF): United Labor & Community slate in Assembly District 17 (the east side of San Francisco). Every two years, Democratic voters can elect 14 Assembly Delegates who play an important role in setting the agenda, electing leadership, and voting on the endorsements for the California Democratic Party.
We are a group of community leaders, champions of organized labor, and proud Democrats who represent the diversity and lived experiences of San Franciscans in AD-17. We are committed to fighting for a just and strong economy, taking effective action on the climate crisis, ending homelessness and building affordable housing, affirming and uplifting the rights of women, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities, and growing the middle class by ensuring every job has a living wage, pension, and health care, making sure big corporations pay their fair share, strengthening our public school systems, and more.
