(San Francisco, Calif.) – Teamsters Local 665 members employed at SPIN scooters voted to unanimously approve a new three-year collective bargaining agreement.
“The workers at SPIN are now the highest paid in this craft. Our members were psyched about the annual increases,” said Local 665 Business Agent Joe Matekel
Included in the multi-year package are increases in vacations, additional holidays and sick pay improvements.
Teamsters employed at SPIN provide mechanical, safety and distribution logistics for electric scooters as alternative mobility in metropolitan areas around the greater Bay Area.
Following the vote SPIN workers expressed satisfaction with the results.
“We asked for wage increases, and we got it. Sticking together through negotiations achieved these results,” said Local 665 Spin member, Deante Glover.
