(Petaluma, CA) Teamsters Local 665 members working at Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) have unanimously ratified a new 3-year agreement that secures important gains in wages, vacations, benefits and workplace protections.
Areas of Improvement
- Economics: 10% wage increases over the life of the contract.
- Workplace: Stronger scheduling protections and improved working conditions.
- Benefits: Maintained medical and retirement coverage.
“This agreement shows what we can achieve when we stand together,” said Sean Fonnest, Shop Steward at SMART. “Our members now have stronger protections on the job and meaningful improvements for the future.”
